Traffic, traffic, traffic! This is a huge topic and thousands upon thousands of books have been written about the topic
It should come as no surprise that 99.9% of marketers agree that traffic is the lifeblood of any online business. In order to make a nice income online, you must drive traffic to your online business. Period.
In this article, I am going to share with you a proven way to drive traffic to your blog using other online blog communities. Of course there are other ways to generate website traffic (visitors) and I have a dozen or so in my vault. This is just one secrets out of the very many that I am going to share with you here on our making money online in Kenya blog.
The traffic generation method I am going to share with you today relies on other blog communities to drive massive amounts of free traffic to your own blog. Sounds interesting? Ok, let’s get started.
Here are two plans that I have found really works.
Proven plan #1 to generate website traffic.
1.Create a list of 100 or so blogs you decide to blog to on regular basis.
A great place to start is http://www.google.com/blogsearch. Simply type in your keywords e.g. “Acne” and search to find related blogs.
2.Visit these blogs regularly to make comments
To make this work for you, you shouldn’t just spam the blogs with your comments. That’s don’t just say “Great site” and leave a link to your site.
A better way to do it is to respond to the articles, respond to someone else’s questions or arguments or to ask your own related questions. Then give the link to your website or blog. I have found that using the link in a P.S. statement works quite nice.
Proven plan #2 to generate website traffic.
1. Find blogs in your niche that accept guest posts. Create a list of about 20-50 such blogs.
A nice place to start would be Google.com. Simply type in your keywords and scan through the first or so search result pages to identify any blog returned.
Then check if the blogs you identify accept guest posts and if it does take note of it. Most blogs that accept guest posts will usually have a “Submit an article” or “submit a guest post” link near the top.
You might also offer the site owner to write an exclusive article for his/her blog. If he/she accepts the offer, go ahead and write one for his/her blog.
Next, go to http://www.google.com/blogsearch. And repeat the same procedure as above.
2. Submit articles with a small about the author paragraph that links out to your blog. A typical “About the Author” paragraph looks like:
Kevin Njoroge has been making money online for three years now. To learn more about making money online, visit his blog at http://internetwealthlab.com/blog
This nice little trick works. I can guarantee that and it is one of my secret weapons when it comes to traffic generation for my blogs. So, get out of your comfort zone and get bust with your keyboard. You’ll be happy that you did it.

If you submit informative articles and follow the submission guidelines, there is no reason why your article should be rejected.
